Horror movies, Halloween fun & the Loew’s go together. And our Masquerade Party has become an annual tradition. And you can’t beat partying with zombies.
So on Saturday, Oct 26, come to the Loew’s Jersey for “Night of the Living Dead“ Nite: the movie AND masquerade party!
Enjoy the classic horror movie that helped rewrite the rules for the horror genre, and put zombies on map as a pop culture phenomenon: George A. Romero’s groundbreaking — in more ways than just opening-a-grave one — original “Night of the Living Dead” on the Loew’s Jersey ‘s BIG 50–foot–wide screen.
It will be shown in an original release, archive–quality 35mm print.
Then stick around the baroque decadence of the Loew’s Grand Lobby to party the night away with lots of zombies and every other kind of Halloween costume you can think of at our annual Masquerade Ball. There’ll be music and dancing, complementary light refreshments, a cash bar and — of course! — acostume contest!
Now if you don’t want to wear a costume, that’s OK. You can come as yourself and still have lots of fun looking at everyone else’s costume.
The cost is just $26 in advance (and that includes all ticketing fees) or $30 at the door. That one price covers the movie and party — including light refreshments. (A cash bar will be available.)
Advance tickets are available on Eventbrite: https://livingdead-movie-and-party.eventbrite.com
And of course it’s all for a good cause –– proceeds help support the nonprofit Friends of the Loew’swork of restoring and operating the Landmark Loew’s Jersey Theatre as a place for the arts, entertainment and community.
(If you REALLY don’t want to come to the masquerade party but still want to see the movie, a film-only ticket is $10.)
